While they are made of hardwood, they are meant to be used as decoration.
Handwash only. Condition as needed. Monthly if used as a cutting board. Every 6 months to a year if used as decoration. (a small bottle of steamed coconut oil conditioner is included with every board. Steamed coconut oil is odorless and flavorless.)
